Applying Engineering to Agentic Development

Thuron: Engineered Software.

Thuron is a small engineering outfit building Thuron Mill — an agentic software engineering platform — and the products it ships. Every tool in the Mill is built by the Mill: Loom writes the code, Tribunal reviews it, Tenter tests it, Patina deploys it, Reeve measures the pipeline, and Lumen surfaces fleet health.

The Mill

A mill is a place where raw material is worked into finished goods by machines that stay in one place while the work moves through them. That is the shape of Thuron Mill: seven tools, each owning one station on the line, and a measured rate on every hand-off between them. The names are not decoration — a tenter is the frame in a mill where cloth is stretched to dry, which is where “on tenterhooks” comes from, and a reeve was the officer who answered for the work getting done.

  1. Loomwrites the code — the control surface for agentic development
  2. Tribunalreviews it — a multi-specialist panel, sealed verdict, gate before promotion
  3. Tentertests it — drives the running app, mines its expectations from its own source
  4. Mayflyrunnerbuilds it — ephemeral runners, hermetic by construction
  5. Patinaships it — container orchestration under 10 MB, GitOps control loop
  6. Reevemeasures the line — first-pass yield, lead time, a rate on every metric
  7. Lumenshows the floor — fleet health, coverage and review findings in one place

Everything on this page — including the Mill itself — is built by the Mill. Crossbar is the proving ground: a live polyglot SaaS platform written, reviewed, tested, shipped and measured end to end by the line above.
